Fabulous, strong, and near-mint. No holes in the silk net, no foxing

The silk lace and silk net are strong, fresh and supple. The silk sash is also strong and fresh (the only flaw is a small, pinprick hole at the end of the raspberry-colored portion of the sash, and a faint, small stain half the size of a pencil eraserhead in about the same place on the ivory-colored sash. These seem to "match," in that when the two sash pieces lay over one another, they align. Perhaps many years ago the lady who wore this attached a pin or something there.

There is an ivory silk underskirt hem that is the third underlayer of this gown. It is about nine inches tall and it is shattered. It is invisible when the gown is worn or displayed and does not detract. It is replaceable.
