Christie’s to Auction Titanic Artifacts

On June 1 Christie's New York, in association with the auction house Guernsey's, will auction off Titanic artifacts and memorabilia in their "Ocean Liner Furnishings and Art" sale. Titanic artifact lots are all legal salvage and include a deck chair, five menus (of 25 believed to be in existance), a bronze White Star Line and number plaque from a Titanic lifeboat (estimate $50,000 to $70,000). Other liner item lots include artifacts and memorabilia from the Mauritania and the Normandie.
